GILFORD — Bank of New Hampshire recently promoted Michelle Blake to vice president – banking office manager. Blake, who has been with the bank since January 2019, oversees the Gilford Village office and will continue to foster strong customer relationships while driving business development and operational excellence.

Blake’s journey at Bank of New Hampshire began as assistant vice president – banking office manager in Dover, where she managed the office’s deposit portfolio and operations. Over the years, Blake has made a significant impact at the bank, having transferred to the Moultonborough office in 2020 and then to the Gilford Village office in 2022. Her leadership and commitment to continuous improvement have helped her build a reputation for excellence in customer service and office management.

In her new position, Michelle will be responsible for the overall management of the Gilford Village office’s deposit portfolio, customer relationship management and new business development. She will also oversee office operations, security, staffing and performance. Michelle’s customer-first mentality and focus on training and development will ensure the continued success of the Gilford Village office.

Outside of her professional accomplishments, Blake is an advocate for local nonprofit organizations. She currently volunteers on the Gilford Old Home Day Committee. She is the former president and past treasurer of the Belmont-Gilford High School Ice Hockey Booster Club and also a former treasurer of the Squam Lakes Chamber of Commerce. Michelle is currently enrolled in the Leadership Lakes Region program and will graduate in 2025.
