South African giants Orlando Pirates have announced the signing of former Uganda coach Milutin Micho Sredejovic as their new head coach for 5 years.

Micho resigned from his post as Uganda coach a week ago citing non-payment of salary arrears as the main reason, a call which has been contested by the President of the Uganda Football Association, Moses Magogo.

The former Cranes manager was unveiled as the new coach of the Sea Robbers on Wednesday as the new gaffer of the side until 2022.

He replaces Kjeil Jonevret, who stepped down on Wednesday as Pirates coach.

Micho is considered one of the best ever coaches for the Cranes of Uganda with a 57% winning ratio in competitive games putting them in the top 10 of African football.
