Wayne Rooney and wife Coleen are giving us serious holiday envy on their family trip to Barbados!

The couple are currently enjoying a sun-soaked getaway on the Caribbean island with their three sons Kai, seven, Klay, four and one-year-old Kit, joined by the kids' grandparents Tony and Colette.

The glamorous destination is a favourite for the Rooney clan, who regularly jet-set off to Barbados for a break.

In fact, they even own a mansion on the Bajan island which you can rent out for a whopping £25,000 per week - but it's the luxurious Sandy Lane Hotel which has become a firm favourite with the couple, who have also chosen the hotel for their current break.

It's no surprise that Barbados continues to be a hit with the family - not only does the island offer a serene break with pristine white beaches, mouthwatering cuisine and breathtaking scenery, but there's plenty for the kids to do too.

It's already been an action-packed trip for Wayne and Coleen's sons, who have been spotted enjoying a boat trip with their mum or trying watersports with their grandad.

We take a look at how you can have your own glamorous family holiday in Barbados - but without needing a celebrity's budget...

Covering almost four-acres, you're free to stroll through the reserve and see some of the island's fascinating wildlife in their natural habitat.

There's everything from monkeys to colourful parrots, not to mention a walk-through aviary, and even a collection of snakes (these are kept in containers!). Find out more here .

5. Spend quality time together on a boat excursion

Before Wayne joined his family on the trip, Coleen kept the kids entertained by spending an afternoon on a fun boat trip with her sons and their grandparents.

The group were spotted enjoying the scenic views of the island and chatting, while the kids showed off their skills by diving into the waters.

There are plenty of excursions available whether you're after snorkeling with turtles or a full day out with lunch included.
